5 incredible remixes of bug kann's classic. All have their strong points. Danny's (Sonz Of A Loop-De-Loop) is a downbeat breaks bomb. Foul Play turn in another fast paced jungle rave remix. The Prodigy turn it into a hardcore techno rush fest (what else??)
Sadly however many of these vinyl (maybe all - Ive had a fair few now??) have a pressing flaw which means small irremovable lumps are present on most of the tracks, so the vinyl has loud pops on at least 1 part of each track. Some are better than others, so just pot luck form the pressing plant really. Still, an astounding set of mixes
This classic early rave tune gets a well earned remix (or 8! too many IMHO). Anyway this is the 12" to go for, not only do you get the fantastic original vocal mix but the following two standout mixes. The Origin Unknown mix is tough but melodic and typical of the 93/94 drum and bass style while the excellent Gachet mix rolls along nicely, with a nice breakbeat and uplifting breakdown that incoporates the femal vocal well. Altogether a nice 12" although this remix package missed a trick by not including the original rave mix from the 1st release. The best of the lot IMHO!
The so-called "Rave" mix (and the Instrumental mix too) is so peaceful and chilled with that reggae-feel.
Stretch your arms and swoon baby (after a nite of heavy dancin')!
