An awash of sound crashing against the shores of your thoughts, an underlying emotional chord that has you wanting more.

Then a once stuttering beat turns more confident as the track slowly evolves into a swathe of heart churning sound.

Picture someone standing alone, alone with his/her thoughts on a person, or even a time in their life with all the emotion thereof. Happily recanting the time with this track in the background. A moment captured.

I speak of the titular track 'A Moment's Peace'. Another one of Bvdub's soul churning tracks, now with his first release on Meanwhile & what a release. Very much in the same vein as 'Return to Tonglu' in feel. The second track 'Xiayu' has a more ambient feel starting with sounds of rain crashing on a window evolving to a 4/4 muffled beat. The chords are not dissimilar to Boards of Canada or Christ in feel with Bvdub's beats underlying them. A superb release. I hope my words do this great release justice. Amazing!
