This E P perfectly captures the essence of a day living beneath the bombs depicted on the cover , starting with the hopeful reverence of 'Twilight' and then the beatless lingering paranoia of 'Darkness'.'Sandstorms' promises imminent military activity, finally unleashed in the deep thunderings of 'Experimento' To comment on war with such eloquence is rare and it sets the bar very high for future producers with a conscience.

Just Another Day isn't just another E.P. It's a great example of Carl Craig's ability to both stay close to his own style and to come up with something new (to adept to new musical trends). I think it's one of the best productions Carl made the last years. Sandstorms is the kind of track Michael Mayer, Dominik Eulberg and all the other Minimal-producers would love to write, but never will.
