I have always been a bit critical when dealing with remixes by the Sharp Boys since most of them, to my ears, sound basically the same with the same effects, same loops, same techniques....get it? This time, though, they got it right with probably their most successful mix ever, turning Cevin's somewhat tame original into a MONSTER barn-burner. No wonder the folks at Trade adopted this as an anthem. I'm curious if this was a huge eve-of-Y2K track for jockeys to play; sure sounds like it to me. BTW, Phat Manhattan's mix is a nice alternative for those who tire of the Sharp rubs.
