this album is by far the worst album I've ever heard. it's funny because this is my first review on discogs but it has to be done. even diehard CB fans should question the effort into we are the night. saturate is probably the best track on the album but it's nothing incredible. I guess everyone's prime eventually ends...

"We Are The Night" is the most psychedelic chemical brothers album yet, far from Big Beat !
The feeling of "We Are The Night" is closely related to "Surrender" : retro-psychedelism with old-school synthesizers.
There are others samples not repertoried in album's notes.
The classic "Crystal Grass" by Crystal World (1974) for the "Modern Midnight Conversation"'s bassline and the very rare Massimo Barsotti's "Whole Lotta Love" (1983) in "Burst Generator".
