Assembled from the original source analog work tapes of misfit reels from the Chop Shop archives. These tapes had previously endured a very UNhappy accident; extensive and prolonged moisture damage -- causing flaking, static, dropouts, and print-through. All notational information was rendered illegible. Various tape machines, equipment and playback scenarios that had been used -- all lost. Time passed, then the happy accident of a later attempted listening...
The damaged tapes were run off with care for a capture to work with, and slowly restructured.
A distillation of lost efforts, recovered...
Finalized and mastered July 2007 at RML Studios in San Francisco.
Limited to 500 copies.
