Reviews & Discussion

The mixes feel very organic and unified. They seem to be pulsating with their own, uncompromising, alien life, so if you're expecting a sweet, feel-good dreamy time, be warned: these mixes take you to a darker place and I wouldn't recommend these as soundtrack to your nice social gathering.

Disc 1 is an incredibly supple techno set, thrusting forward with elastic ease. A real keeper.
Disc 2 is my favourite of the three: a dark, industrial, but emotionally charged night ride on a trans-brown-field motorway that's hypnotically seamless and atmospheric.
Disc 3 has a lot to offer too, but I have yet to find my angle on it.

All in all, these are amazingly penetrating, stout mixes. If you feel like taking a journey with your headset, exploring your techno dark side, you definitely won't be disappointed.

Mix two is a very good one indeed if not one of the best emotional minimal techno mixes ever. As a whole triple CD i agree it doesn't succeed but mix two is really good not to miss out on it!

I don't know, I really tried to understand this CD, given that it's a Balance CD, but I still can't. It's just boring, liveless music without much variation in sound or build up. I really like techno, and I really like moody techno, but this compilation just doesn't do it for me.

Excellent 3xCd Mix featuring a range of sounds expertly welded into three Differing Soundscapes - I say welded because this compilation has a very industrial/machine theme. The first Cd is 2005 style Tech/Progressive House and more upfront than than the second which is a deeper, tranced out groove, the third Cd is Breaks.

Highlights on the Compilation Include: Alex Smoke - Pingu, which according to my girlfriend "Sounds like being inside a washing Machine". And Kobbe & DJ Nitro's - America that apparently "Sounds like a big machine sweeping the road at night"

Wicked stuff !
