Chymera ‎– Dreamrunner

Except for some unexpected december surprises, for me this is the 2010 winner.
After all, this was an interesting year, musically speaking.
Both pros and newcomers gave their support to electronic dance music.
To name few of them: Petar Dundov, Robert Babicz, Daniel Stefanik, Luna City Express, Pig & Dan, Mark Broom, Christian Smith, Wehbba, Butch, the Bedrock guys... (Sorry but i'm forgetting some names)
I must admit that i heard some pure quality tracks for my musical tastes.
But, in my opinion, Dreamrunner goes further, especially the amazing Funk D'Void Remix.
Chymera as usual delivers some exciting chords and create a track that flows, flows, rises and falls and than again. The arrangement is Chymera trademark, the melodical elements are enhanced as usual.
Chymera is an incredibly talented producer. Everyone should know this.
As soon as you realize that this track is beautiful, you must turn the vinyl side and be silent.
Because if Chymera is talented, pad-maestro Funk D'Void is an institution and guesses everything: the groove, the fx, the structure and, of course, the synths.
He gives additional class to the beautiful original mix. This tune is an exaltation of synths and emotions.
The real secret of this record is the mood that gives.
It's deep and euphoric at the same time... In one word: epic.
The last time i heard a track so full of positive feelings, it was "The Deep" from Joris Voorn, i believe.
"Flealife" was good... But this... This one is simply "moments of glory for Djs". Future classic.
