It's always a pleasure when an unknown artist comes out of nowhere with a stunning debut. This one on dBridge's superb Exit label is one of those. While it may get pigeonholed as Drum n Bass, in truth it is an expertly handled collision of IDM, ambient and a dash of classic synth-pop which is held together by a perfectly constructed Drum n Bass backdrop. This is clearly a producer who knows electronic music inside out becuase this is one of the most successful fusion of styles I have heard in a long time. Those expecting dancefloor friendly D&B will be disappointed but if it's a late night headphone journey you are looking for this one will not disappoint. Top class.

Hands down THE best album of 2009 as far as the nu-school and deeper sound of d'n'b is concerned. Full of subtle details that make every track living its own life. A cross-genre introspective journey on the verge of anything that can be classified as 'deep'. Mysterious, charming and most of all recommended to anyone who can appreciate the beauty of contemporary electronic music.
