Another great track from High Contrast for his debut label. Days Go By is a fun Liquid Funk type track with guitar and vocal samples "And the days go by" and "Just like a one-winged dove" from Stevie Nicks' Edge Of Seventeen. Very well done. One the flip, What We Do is a hopping track with very fluid drums. It gets a little repetitive after a while as it is fun, but doesn't really go anywhere.
Excellent first production of High Contrast on his own label. The A side is a very jump up track, keeping a good flow and really bouncy bassline. The synths are dreamy and the break has an excellent built up. Heard it for the first time in a Logistics mix and since then it never left my head! "What we do" on the contrary is a nice liquid tune, with nice stop-and-go's.
