This is another release in Corrado Izzo's atmospheric Gadgets style.
It is drawing you into its own space, its 'open spaces'. Though the tracks' elements keep their clear technoid character, they unfold an almost impressionistic landscape. In "Offene Weiten", a soft warm bass spreads like a carpet above which the clattering beat is pushing straight forward. The beat's miniature breaks keep up the pace. The intro "Korridor" is actually modulated by real space using the delaying and reverberation of the room itself. I give it a 5/5 just for the thrilling A-side with "Korridor" and "Offene Weiten". These tracks are two stages of accessing space, an abstract take-off yielding in a tech-house exploration across the sea.
