Cybotron ‎– R-9

Another one of the greats, my personal favorite. The first twenty seconds of the song still gives me chills. This song is still in semi-regular rotation on mix shows in Detroit. I haven't listened to "techno" since it went overseas but if you ask a 30+ year old Detroiter what "techno" is, this is what comes to mind. This song reflected the mood and the feel of the city in the mid 80's. If there is one song that represents true Detroit techno, this is it. This is the foundation.
