I had this on vinyl and I really wanted to hear the 12" Vocal Mix. After finally tracking down this promo CD on eBay I discovered why it wasn't included on the vinyl release: It's a terrible track! I have no idea what these guys were thinking with this - the synths sounded outdated (even in 2004), the electric guitar sounds tacky, the drum pattern is bland and the vocals barley fit with this poorly arranged instrumental. To put it frankly, the original mix isn't worth the plastic it's burned on.
That aside, I found the IllSkillz remix to be fantastic. It was well arranged with a great build-up and a nice use of breaks, which makes it a pretty memorable track; one which i'd mix into pretty much any set.
The D. Kay remix is also good - dark sythns and stop/start breakbeat patterns mix really well with the vocals, however I think the "fairy dust" chimes are a little much.
All in all i'd certainly pick it up at a moderate price simply for the remixes, but as this is a promo you'd probably find it cheaper and easier to get the vinyl release.
