D Kay & Lee* - Wax'd / Eternal Sunset

Drum & Bass is extremely lame right now with all that clownstep stuff thats popular at the moment. However its nice to see that every once and a while a gem like "Eternal Sunset" comes out. This track is what 'ardkore/jungle/dnb is all about, chopped up amens w/ turntable break effect at the end of every other 4th measure, low sub bass (thats not distorted), and sexy uplifting melodies. This track almost sounds like the years above 1995 never happened which is just fantastic! Takes me back to the sounds of Lucky Spin and Good Looking records. Another words this track is just a perfect piece of audio bliss. The flipside "Wax'd" doesn't score as well with me. It features lame bad company style distorted bass and tech step beats. It has some nice cords but it just doesn't seem like a good match to such a classy track like "Eternal Sunset".
