Reviews & Discussion

Rated 5/5
Review by Tox-cds Nov 18, 2006 (edited over 3 years ago)
One of the first progressive compilations that focused more on the house-side rather than trance. For me it was this one that introduced me to amazing artists like the 2 Flying Dutchmen Eelke Kleijn & Fitalic.
This is truly déép music: lengthy tracks, clever build-ups, atmospheric breaks & some vocals here & there. Variations in percussion & melodies make sure it doesn't get boring. It's catchy, but never cheap & the tracks keep getting better over time, revealing more details as time goes by. This style of progressive can be enjoyed in sweaty clubs, huge open-air dancefloors or just in your own living room or car.
Personal highlights would be tracks 2,3,4,5,6 & the fantastic & haunting closing track by Space Safari (again F.Beckers)

Careful: there is a mix-up in the tracklisting, # 4 & 5 got mixed-up. The track by D-Nox & Beckers is the one with the Ali G-sample in it!
