Reviews & Discussion

Review by Bugs.Bunny Feb 02, 2011 (edited about 1 year ago)
MR DJ: ---> A fine tribute not a facsimilie of when hip hop tunes were about how dope your rhymes were and how dextrous your DJ was. This pushes the dynamic of lead DJ and his rhyming spokesman to the limit, cutting in phrases from the old school, over modern beats. the use of a catchy vocal hook gives this a massive helping hand. Spotters will be going crazy trying to i.d. all the hooks....

I like DJ Format... He's always kept a sense of humour in his records, with a keen eye on the road ahead but also inviting us old farts along for the journey.

This old fart in part in particular will spend the weekend i.d. ing all the hooks that aren't MC WATCHOUT's - MY TOM TOM or JUST CALL US DEF by STEADY B.
