This is one of the best mixes I have ever heard. Kinda slow tempo-wise, but very funky and dreamy... prime vintage psychedelic downtempo disco .. it's astounding enough that almost every track is wonderful on its own... that it was mixed so smooth and lovingly just makes it even sweeter. Too bad only 1000 copies were put out (mostly in Japan) cause it's a true classic.
The original mix was recorded from two Thoren turntables thru a Bozak mixer (with effects) live, straight to DAT and then was professionally mastered before release. In the mastering, it wasn't EQed, but the sound levels were brought up to make it proper for cd release. We tried to keep it true to what was submitted from the cult leader. The cover artwork was also submitted by Harvey.
