For me this is a great driving slice of House- (or maybe you can call it techno).
the "Basic cut" version is the best!
It strips the mix right down to the beats, stabs and effects in different combinations.
Clever and energetic.
Nice piece of production !

I bought this one without listening to it for the Derrick May remix....and promptly got rid of. Unfortunately no where near his original works or his other remixes (check his Sueno Latino remix for an out of body experience!!)
This an unusual record, hard to classify and rate. If you have Beyond by GU you'll recognize the sample. All 3 versions of the track are different and playable in different kinds of sets. It's versatile.
It might not sound like typical Derrick May, but listen to some of his other collaborations (e.g. with System 7) and his style doesn't always hit you over the head.
