I don't know if it will make any sense, but for me the easiest way to describe Temple Of Acid would be calling it an early Plastikman (think Krakpot) meets early Solar Quest (think Harmonation), in a battle for acid supremacy.
Sixteen plus minutes of a subwoofer shattering, never ending kick, getting ran over by torrents of acid. Period.
There are pauses, breaks, and each of them is followed by that effect of the acid and the kick coming back at you faster, harder, louder and without any remorse. Just magnificent!
The track seems to be constantly coming at you, nothing too fast or furious, just relentless and stubborn stabs of acid floating around without any particular goal but to drive you off the wall. It never wanders off into cerebral territory by over using or distorting the 303s, everything is just perfectly pitched and the synths are just simple, catchy yet effectively modulated. If you feel the record runs too slowly, pitch it up, and witness its transformation into a tweaking, sonic mental hospital. Nuts!
