DJ Qbert made history in 1998 by releasing skratch music's most influential album Wave Twisters. Fans worldwide were captivated by the brilliance of this "new" music, which told a story using only skratch music - from the drums and vocals to the melodies and sound effects.
San Francisco graffiti legend Dug 1, along with animator/directors Syd Garon and Eric Henry, were assigned the task of creating a full-length animated film based on the album, skratch for skratch. The result is Hip Hop's first animated film, Wave Twisters the Movie.
