Yes, this 79 minute compilation has it all. Anyone wanting to sample some of today’s distorted, broken and industrial sounding speedcore-gabber music then get this CD. Compiled by the excellent deejay and producer Stormtrooper this compilation is a ride through all styles of hardcore sounds but staying always on the dark side of the genre.
The tempo varies considerably from one track to the other. We find pure filthy noise music like NCBC 02. Track 8 (Unstable) is an awesome breakbeat-hardcore-1992-sounding-like track. Some sampling from commercial records and from an 80’s song can be heared on Fleischwolf and Megara. Check Frightering Breakfast and No Brain No Pain for some noisy and breakbeat/broken Hardcore. Track 4 (Porno Anthem) is a very cool, odd and funny original track.
Compilation closes oddly with a mellow breakbeat track and nothing to do with hardcore – yet cool!
