Track 1 has a very deep base that you will end up remembering forever, and yet it is filled with minimalistic sounds and sequences.
Tracks 2 is a bit slower, using similar sounds but with such high complexity and changing of scales that does indeed belong to the future. The sequence ends up sounding like a guitar riff, without it being one.
Track 3 fast and whirling, one could say it's one of those Hallucinogen signature tracks, with an amassing acid break down at about 3 minutes, that states what you are dancing against here.
Track 4 is the most representative track of the whole CD, quite minimalistic, deep base and flowing smoothly through all the melodic sequences.
Track 5 goes quite hard again, at a slower pace this time, with a sample from the film dune as I remember, when the main character sees the second moon and realises the sign to go forward and take over the planet. A few sub-drum sequences are also quite notable.
Track 6 overdoes it slightly with the minimalistic acid scalings, therefore creating a very psychedelic atmosphere throughout the whole track.
Track 7 is a bit faster again, with sharp beats, and a good balance of acid sequences, synths and effects.
Track 8 is the peak of minimalisation on the CD. The sounds are sharper than ever. One would think that sounds like these are not appropriate for making music, but yet riktam and avi are doing very well here!
Track 9 finally, a well promoted track by Olli, with those weird baby sound effects, but a good build up and break out. The track while still in the minimalistic style, does differ quite a lot from the rest of the tracks. The style belongs more in Olli's unique composition techniques, while still using what is available in the DNA studio.
The sleeves contain some good graphics, also indicating that it contains Trance, on the side under the tray, eradicating any possible misidentification as Jungle (drum & bass) music.
