There was a great buzz about this release months before it finally became available to the public. This was thanks largely to support from Danny Rampling on the Euro Mix section of his Love Groove Dance Party show on Radio 1.
'Beat the System' has powerful chunky hard house kick beats running through it, but after the opening minute or so, cheeky slippery synth licks and an urgently modulated acid line take it into a hard trance direction. The vocal hook makes this track great fun, and gives it anthem status.
'Blue Oyster' is a more hard house oriented track, and in truth is unlikely to appeal to trance lovers.
