Dan Curtin on Strictly Rhythm? Even though he makes arguably cheesy dancefloor material now, back in 1994 he was well-known as a 4/4-eschewing producer of futuristic, melodically intricate "intelligent techno", so it was a bit of a surprise that this came out.
He does a pretty good job I think, translating his unique style quite effectively into the house format. It's far more dancefloor-driven than his other output at the time, but still far more, um, Dan Curtin than anything else that came out on Strictly Rhythm. Definitely worth getting if you're a fan of Dan Curtin (early/mid-90s Dan Curtin anyway), or if you're a Strictly completist, but house purists might find it a bit too synthy and melodic.
