This is one of the barest, dryest releases in the entire Perlon catalogue. It has a very dark (Ein File fur Derrick) and industrial (Delay Lama) feel to it, that makes the two tracks fit together naturally, especially so since some of the sounds are used in both tracks.
It does not have the depth and intensity of the rest of Perlon, and really belongs to the clubs: on phones it is just not captivating enough.
This record was my first off of Perlon... I have to say that Ein File Fur Derrick ( a file for Derrick ) is one dark and evil sounding track. It's still one of my favorites. the vocal track is " i wanted to kill " in a sexy/ scary female voice. It's got an industrial sound that seems to break down in so many ways. The micro clicks and pops seem to jump in and out of the foreground and background. The other side is drenched with syncopated beats that will mesmerize. Dandy Jack and his entourage of aka's is an exciting branch of Perlon. If you like these tracks I would also recommend Perlon 050 and Dandy's releases on the Superlongevity series.
