Reviews & Discussion

Review by kompressorkanonen Mar 10, 2004
Gorgeous ambient album by Daniel Pemberton, released when he was just 16. In his own words, this was "recorded using a cheap four track, a Korg keyboard and a drum machine that I couldn't programme very well" - still, it's a remarkable achievement and one of the best releases on Fax, with some dark and unsettling undercurrents that set it apart from the more wallpaper-ish releases on the label. Did someone say "wunderkind"?
