Excerpts from the likes of Pete Namlook, Ritchie Hawtin and Klaus Schulze. The From Within side has an amazing amount of low thumping bass, which is very well preserved in vinyl. Musically, each track builds from darker ambient with bass, slowly mixing in ever evolving minimalistic melodies. "Do Bassdrums Have Feelings", we are treated to bassdrums pounding out the bass and creating its only melody. Its a track that beckons the full version. Sadly, both tracks end before they get going.

Both The Dark Side Of The Moog tracks start off quickly. The beats explode into an array of fast furious melodies and dark dancey beats. Again, we are treated to some warm enveloping bass tones. The music slows down to some chilled out ambience that seems to find itself trapped in distant space.

Some good highlights, making buying the full versions essential.
