This album has to be one of the best ever releases fusing dark electronics with guitars. As a part time dj I have spun this album with huge success to psy trancers and goths alike. But this album is more than just a club album, it's gloomy atmospheric undertones and variety in tracks mean it is also fantastic for just kicking back with some head phones on at home.

Before discovering Discogs I never noticed the problem with the sound quality issue about this release. Perhaps because it's one of my favourite albums ever. Dark Soho's nine tracks here are very very dark. They fuse psy-trance with goth, rock, industrial sounds, sometimes almost techno sounding and often darkly melodic. Most times the music is quite aggressive and stomping yet all very danceable.

Another highly recommended album for it's originality and quality production.

This CD, as most other Sphere/Kukomi Records releases, had major sound quality issues! This particular CD was in mono/pseudostereo, and consequently sounds very flat. It was later re-issued on BNE/Yo-Yo Records, with much improved sound quality.

What happens when you take just about everything that's exciting about Heavy Metal, Industrial, Gothic, Wave and Trance and put it all into the mix? That's right, just about the most enticing piece of music you can imagine. It has all the best of every genre and sublimates this into a sometimes eerie, sometimes trippy but always powerful and extremely danceable.
