Wow, two massive tracks on one vinyl! Darren Tate does know how to make a decent peaktime trance tune and both of these are rated amongst his best, even if both of these are collaborations.
"Now is the Time" is a seriously explosive banger, made with German trance legend Mike Koglin. It was John 00 Fleming's track of the year in 2002 and appears on White Label Euphoria (vol 1) if you want to get hold of it on CD!!
"Let the Light Shine In" also gets you reaching for the sky with its hugely anthemic strings and ever-building melodies (similar in style to "Destination" by Darrn in his DT8 guise). This one was made with of Jono Grant, one third of UK trance act Above & Beyond (Anjunabeats label bosses). Tiesto put the track on his "Nyana" mix CD, which was a massive success worldwide, and it was good to see Darren getting global exposure.
It's definately worth tracking this release down - I looked for it for months until I found it completely by accident! - and you'll almost definately give this great EP pride of place in the front of your record box.
