The mix technique of this guy is huge.
I can barely recognise the first track when he is scratching it. The idea of giving a second cd with some unmixed tracks is very good and it is helpfull to try to understand how Dave does his mix.

Mixed by Dave Clarke, this installment in Studio !K7's X-Mix series is the first available on CD as well as VHS; in other words, fans of Clarke can get his mix of electro classics old and new without subjecting themselves to the incredibly cheesy computer-graphics animation for which Studio !K7 is known. Clarke includes Detroit tracks from Model 500, Underground Resistance, and Channel One, as well as Euro-electro from Octagon Man (J Saul Kane) and LFO. Skip the video, but get the CD.

Recorded live, complete with trademark scratches and line switch moves, this is easily the best electro mix album you could hope to find. Clarke steers clear of the cheesy 80's revival stuff and goes for a darker sound incorporating some genuine lost classics. Releasing an electro mix album back in the mid 90's was definitley quite a bold move, but DC carries it off with ease!
