I still get a laugh out of this one... Dave Seaman's disc is nothing to scoff at certainly, but heaven help me if Robert Miles, the much-derided king of "Dream Trance", doesn't lay down some serious hardness on disc two. Starting from the dreamy breakbeat of Fluke's "Reeferendum", he nosedives straight down through hard techno from Chris Cowie and D.A.V.E. the Drummer, and finishes up with a flourish of riotous goa. The mixing is done to a turn (and you can tell it's done by hand, if you listen closely) and the programming is top-rate, but the fact that Mr. "Children" did it is still the cherry on the cake. Lovely stuff.
