Dean Cole emerges from his contributions to the User releases long enough to put forth a set of hard-edged, textural tracks. Despite its somewhat machine-like aesthetic, the rhythms remain "swingy" and insistent. The highlight is definitely Regis' rework, which gives the original some added muscle. Edgy, minimal, dirty--all in all effective for the harder floors.
