I don't know if it happens with all the re-issues of this single made in purple label, but mine is a bad pressing with some heat marks in all the record. If you listen my copy in a nice volume it sounds OK, but if you listen to it too loud, you can clearly listen the marks from beginning to end.
I just wanted to know if all the copies are like mine.
However, it is a classic excellent song, one of my favorites made by Jam Packed.

I am not one to go for the instrumental in disco/electro records. DJ's these days think the vocals are too cheesy or they don't want to date their tracks but the vocals give these songs extra spice and set them apart. It's criminal to omit them.

This record is the exception. After one verse the simple, repetitive vocal melody and the way it is delivered begins to grate. The instrumental on the other hand provides one of the purest examples of 80's electro funk this side of "Planet Rock". Instantly catchy with the synth bleep perfectly placed on the fourth beat the rhythm template will have you rocking for weeks. On top of that the producer throws an endless variety of synth sounds that play around with the main theme. Essential.
