I don't own much deepchord, but I do own this 12", both tracks are absolute killers. "Departure" deeper than deep with hypnotic percussion is an nearly 9min excursion which is my fav here. Octal Industies "Arrival" doesn't disappoint either sublime track. The best deepchord record in my opinion, I actually got this at a reasonable price I guess I was lucky. 5/5

Yes, I bought this record because the samples of Octal Industries' Arrival really blew me away. Such a nice piece of deep, uplifting programmings, but in retrospect I like DeepChord's Departure most. I think, it's one of Rod Modell's best tracks ever. The second part of this track, when the synth chords go back and the real sounding drums get in front of this truly amazing work is just perfect. Nothing else.
So grab a physical copy whenever you can. It's ultra rarely when you consider, it is a DeepChord.
