While I've been a big fan of DEMON's productions and remixes over the years (he's re-touched everyone from BENJAMIN DIAMOND to BRAN VAN 3000 to devastating effect), this new album is a real letdown - gone are the innovative, cutting-edge electro-house grooves - and in its place is a rather tired, dated, flat attempt to mimic U.S. rap/hip-hop/R&B - something that Demon just shouldnt attempt, because he's not very good at it. I really wanted to like this, but I can't. Still, maybe some upcoming remixes will salvage the LP traxx?
