Disc artwork is simple black text on a white domestic circular self-adhesive CD label.
Inlays are single-sided prints in colour on thin paper. No side/spine sections on back inlay.
This album was originally written in 1997 and was going to be released by Blue Room Released until they went bust.
It's such a shame this release wasn't properly pressed along with complete and proper artwork. Merv is a creative and prolific force to be reckoned with and this release is no exception. This really is a gem. Don't be put off by the style associations listed above nor the title (as I was initially) you'll enjoy this album from beginning to end. There aren't many albums I can say that I enjoy entirely all the way through and be inspired from. If you are a fan of Merv's work or even the Ozric Tentacles then I'd urge you to track this one down. If you are new to his work it certainly won't be a bad start! I just hope that Mesmobeat takes the decision to repress this properly - I'll buy it again.
