Reviews & Discussion

Five years later, I have to agree with Steve. This is, by far, the most beautifully crafted house/techno dj set I have heard in my 15 or so years of listening to electronic music. Everyone will love this, electronic music lover or not. Mix Up are actually a serie of mixes that marked my youth. Look up for the Jeff Mills one if you digged this one (and can put a hand on it !).

Many records, many dj's and many mixes.Few however, in my opinion, rival the majesty that is this mix from Derrick May.Superb tracklisting, perfectly mixed with some quirky dj type stuff going on.I especially like the'stopping record'effect which he uses alot. The pace never gives up and it is a true journey through house and techno music. After 15 years of listening to house and techno, whenever I put this on, it takes me right there.Wicked.Thanks Derrick.
