A fantastic record nearly ruined by producer Robin "needs more reverb" Guthrie. He's proven he can make great records, and he's proven that he can tank a production.

Dif Juz just isn't the kind of dream pop shoegaze Guthrie is suited for. His efforts serve only to soften the record's impact.

4AD appends four tracks from the "Out of the Trees" comp, but obviously they should have included the whole "Out of the Trees" comp if anything at all. Why leave out those amazing four tracks? When they are released on cd nowhere else?

The vinyl press suffers from the 4AD curse of the middle 80s, tons of no fill crackle.

This cd is the way to go.

Buy everything from this band, it's all great.

The remixes of both "Diselt" & "Heset" from "Out Of The Trees" are so good, it's too bad they haven't been issued on CD!
