Sadly there is a downside to this item and as the submitter of this release I feel it’s my responsibility to inform or better yet warn you about the poor audio and viewing quality of the videos contained within this DVD. Maybe the producers didn't strive to excel in the making of this product because it was just intended to be a promotional item for the upcoming best of CD/LP album and not to be made publicly available. Nevertheless it's disappointing to watch a DVD with its video source seemingly originating from various non-master ancient vhs tapes. As a result of this the picture is grainy, stale and it jitters. The audio is also taken from the same sources and therefore its quality (pops/noise) and its volume level is very low.
Still, this rather rare DVD is a must-have collectors item for true "Digable Planets" fans with moderate expectations.
