Digital Boogie - Afterglow

Afterglow is essentially a remix of Change's "Glow Of Love" from the early 80s (a group which had Luthor Vandross on vocals), but what a re-interpretation! In my mind, this illustrates the close link between deep house and 80s soul generally, where alot of producers get their various samples from. Releases such as this demostrate the gulf of talent between talentless lazy producers who simply lay on programmed beat over an old record and think they have done something revolutionary! I love the original this is based on and I love this version as well. Superb.
