To begin with, I musty say I am a fan of Digitaline. I really enjoy their sound and ability to create incredibly progressive and tasteful, dance music. This being their first release on city fox, I was excited to hear their new output. The A side and title track "seeking attention" starts off with no hope of value. The lame vocal track really kills the original sound they have been creating since their early Cadenza releases. The las 2 minutes of the song takes a turn and offers listeners a taste of the classic "Digitaline" sound. But, the first three quarters of the track is not very good. The B side of this release is EPIC! I am familiar with this track because I have the Podcast they did live for ibizavoice. The b-side track is psychedelic, dance inducing and totally intelligent. The keen use of tribal vocal snippets and syncopation on the percussion is so much listening-fun. This release is worth the money for the B-side alone. "Altra" is one of the best Minimal Tek tracks ever produced! This song is pure sonic fun!
