Reviews & Discussion

A personal full-on favorite of mine...
Dino Psaras unfortunately was one of the people who started the whole awful trend of psy-rmx of poppy hits from 80's & 90's as you can check-out in the last track.
But the rest of the album is actually pretty good to outstanding & very diverse thanks to a some collaborations.
I really like the tracks he did with X-Dream & especially the fantastic acidic "Hoover" w/ Man With No Name !!!
Other favorites include "The Eyes" & especially "Perpetual Night Party" which uses a sample from the amphetamine-movie "The Salton Sea".
Nothing groundbreaking, but good fun all the way through!

Dino Psaras is a veteran in psytrance music making. He is most known for being a member of Cydonia and Tortured Brain, and for running Atomic Records. He has played as a dj and live all over the world for several years. The last couple of years he has performed just under his own name, Dino Psaras. Finally, five years after his Cydonia album, here he comes with his solo album on Oktava Records in Greece. This album was released at Samothraki Dance Festival 2003, where he also performed live and with a dj set. This album wasn`t as good as I expected. There are a few good tracks here, but several of these tracks could have been much better in my opinion. Full on, with some very easy digestible melodies. Why not cut out those cheesy melodies, and ad something twisted like before? His production skills are high, but in my ears he has vasted it on a more catchy sound for the masses, instead of staying deeper as he has done with previous releases.
