Reviews & Discussion

Please note that this is called "Versioning" and it's an integral
part of Reggae music since 40 years. So called "Riddims" are being versioned over and over - at the time they come out and many generations after the styles have changed. This has nothing to do with Dubstep in particular. Credits would go to Flabba Holt (Bass) of the Arabs aka The Roots Radics in this case. The credits often go to the (executive) producer even though he wasn't even involved in the creative process during the production.

This is actually a good release, but they forgot to mention that the B-side is almost completely stolen from Prince Far I & The Arabs - Cry Tuff Dub Encounter Chapter 4. Not that I m against bootlegs or remixing classics, but I think the original artist deserves a minimum of respect which is to be credited on the remake!! Seems to me that this is a common issue in the dubstep hype nowadays. So many bootlegs, but rarely the origin is pointed at.
