majestic and foreboding, dissolved adds another classic release to his enormous discography of horror movie soundtracks and science film shorts. shimmering symphonic synthstrings and hypnotic drum loops are enveloped in oceanic echo, reflecting inspirations such as slowdive, brothomstates, and future sound of london. twisted vocals occasionally bubble to the surface above powerful, ethereal melodies in a very haunting fashion. then as the squelching metronome-ish beats subside you are awash in a euphoric, cathedral resonance. completely unforgettable.
