'Spirit of XTC' features the 'Extasy' sample from 'Energy Flash'. Early Rotterdam record, very distinct from the sound of Rotterdam Records and other labels, that later shaped the Dutch hardcore sound. Similar in sound with DJ Casanova's Untitled on R & S from the same year, with dark moving bassline and a sample that says it all.
A little known but essential 91 moment and in my opinion, one of the very few tracks that sound as effective as 'Energy Flash' does.
