The debut release from this French label is well suited to mixing with either jungle or low-tempo hardcore. Borrowing the breakbeat feel of the old Ruffneck records, but leaving the cheesy synths at home, is a good formula that makes for a semi-solid record. There are no gimmicks here, but there is also a feeling that something is missing. A good mix can add a lot to it, but it comes to the table feeling the slightest bit short of being fully complete.
