Both are absolute Classics.

New Essential Platinum was an absolutely brilliant re introduction of Essential Platinum, and had countless Happy Hardcore classics, for example, The Antisocial releases, Evolve - Sugar & Spice / Living Dream, Stompy - Come Follow Me / I Believe (Stompy Remix), DJ Daydream - Galaxy EP among many many others. Almost every release was absolutely brilliant and up to high standards.

First off, the A side "Tranquility" is utterly brilliant and without question, an absolute masterpiece. Cliché stompy kickdrum, unique break, everything is pretty ordinary so far. But the breakdown hits. Beutiful, Euphoric vocals. Lush pads/strings. Amazing piano competed with some nice Vocals which most would call cringy, but never the less, you gotta love it, lyrics and all. The peak is really brilliant too, really laid back, but in an awesomely good way. A small sorta "attempted" heh, drum and bass bit. But then the vocals come in again, i must say they are cringy, but never the less. The peak here is amazing! You have this really energetic stab come in, just what we needed!!! Brilliant track, really good.

Last but surely not least, we have "Tears in your Eyes". Nice hard kick with claps here and there. The vocals here are really brilliant here too. But after the vocalist sings "Runs so deeeep" you have this brilliant chimey synth ryhthm. Really amazing stuff, hard to explain but this is really where Happy Hardcore is at, awesome. Next, there is a square solo which solidifies it's brilliance. This track is really something good, it combines the uplifting, euphoric vocals with amazing Piano, bass, stabs etc, in the most amazing way. I'm still trying to figure out which i like better, the other side or this side. Tough decision. All in all, a really good release, definetly worth a check out.
