This release from Download marked the point in their short history were they became Plateau sounding, yet another side project of cEvin's Crew. When I got it I went in thinking that this would sound just like the previous album, if not maybe Furnace, but holy crap was I wrong. This was exactly like Plateau's first album and it wasn't that I hated it but I felt betrayed and mislead for some lame reason. If I wanted a Plateau album I would have bought one damn it. The CD features tracks with fairly simple drums that never change all the while synths and cEvin's distinctive random play comes in at times. I will say that the track "Flight Of Luminous Insects" sounds like a reversion of Pink Floyds "On The Run". Just listen and see for yourself. My favorite track is "Beauty In The Eyes" as it seems to have more variety than the others. The disc ends with a nice cello piece by Peggy Lee. No drums and great to fall asleep to. Never though I'd say that last part about a Download CD.
