This is one of my favourite Peace Off releases. On the face of it this is typical dancefloor breakcore - the usual mix of jungle, gabber, drum & bass and the like. But it has enough original touches to make it stand out. The squelchy acid that's in a few of the tracks, for example, certainly appeals to me.
Also, the structure of the tracks is spot on: mashed up enough to make for interesting breakcore, but not too abstract or broken to disrupt the flow of the tracks. Granted, it's not breaking any boundaries, but music doesn't always have to - sometimes a bit of solid rave music is just what you need, and this is one LP where you'll get it!
