right, this may sound like a stupid question but i really cannot work out what speed this record plays at!! is it 33 or 45??? i assumed it would be 45 because it's a 12" with just 2 tracks on each side, but then i started to wonder, i mean the label is called 33 afterall, and it kinda sounds ok at both speeds!!! can anyone help me??? also this release IS NOT CALLED DFI, i don't know where people have got that name from, it certainly doesn't say DFI anywhere on the actual record, and skam themselves refereded to it as DF1 on the skam website, DF1 being part of the catalogue number (33df1).
Do we smell some more of that secret skam buzz? Yes is the simple answer. Following skams 33 sublabels first release of Mortal + Chemist(Ae or not Ae that is the question), we are left to wonder again about Dr Derrick F. FE say that is is DJ Hyper Flex, infamous originator of the Rhombic Youth scene. Perhaps this time we will not have the joy of mixing around with the Autechre notion, but you never know. One thing is clear tho, give this a while and its another ebay steamer.
